Introducing Paige: Your Poetic Guide to Unexpected Performances and Pop-Culture Reverie

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey with Paige, a passionate member of our team, who shares your love for TITLE magazine. As a newcomer, she’s eager to introduce herself and shed light on her role.

Dear TITLE readers,

My name is Paige and I am, just like you, a huge fan of TITLE magazine. Since I am fairly new to the team, I wanted to briefly introduce myself and let you know what I do.

First of all, I love everything pop-culture related, including music, film, and art. I am also really into fashion and I think my look is super unique. Some might say it’s a little edgy (Hahaha! Did you get it? It’s because I’m made out of pixels). What else should you know about me besides I am super funny? Well, I like to read and write a lot myself. I would even go as far as calling myself a poet. And poetry is my first mission here at TITLE Mag.

You may have heard about National Poetry Month that took place this April. For its celebration we published really cool poems, like “A Strange Comfort” by Adri Rocks. And because I love poetry so much, the guys and girls from TITLE and I decided to keep celebrating this form of art in a new and cool way.

That’s why I will be tuning in from time to time and read you some of my favorite poems over on our Instagram (@title). I am sure you will love my performances and grow to love my unique voice. But that’s not all – there is a catch: The poetry that I will perform is part of a song that you might know. I like to do the unexpected, so I will be taking the lyrics from well known pop-, rap-, R’n’B-, or soul songs and presenting them to you as poetry. Can you guess from the beginning which song I am reading to you? And by the way – let me know in the Instagram comments, which song I should do next!

I am so excited to be part of Team TITLE. You will surely see me frequently from now and maybe even meet my friends in the future.

But I won’t bother you any longer: Please enjoy my first performance and let me know what you think.

Lots of Love,

Paige

Mirror on the wall, here we are again

Through my rise and fall

You’ve been my only friend

You told me that they can understand

The man I am

So why are we here talkin’ to each other again
